Applicable Models

Working Principle
An internal rubber diaphragm divides the inner chamber into a gas chamber and an oil chamber.
Pressure oil delivered by the brake charging pump enters the oil chamber, compresses the diaphragm and squeezes nitrogen in the gas chamber to store hydraulic energy.
When the brake pedal is depressed, nitrogen expands and discharges pressurized oil rapidly for the brake system.
When the engine stalls or the hydraulic pump fails, the stored pressure provides several times of emergency braking capacity.
Main Functions
Brake Energy Storage: Stores pressurized brake oil for stable brake‑pedal feel.
Emergency Braking: Supplies safe braking when the engine stops or the brake pump malfunctions.
Pressure Compensation: Compensates minor leakage in the brake circuit and maintains standby system pressure.
Shock Absorption: Dampens pressure pulsation in the brake circuit, protects valve assemblies and pipelines, and reduces impact noise.
Typical Fault Symptoms (Damaged Accumulator)
Spongy brake pedal, weak braking; braking works only after repeated pedal strokes.
Hardly any braking after engine shutdown; only one brake application or no braking at all.
Frequent start‑stop of brake charging pump, system alarm triggered.
Oil seepage on housing, leakage at charging port, diaphragm rupture (internal nitrogen leakage).
